Elementary Schools

Elementary schools provide Kindergarten programs (for children aged 4 and 5) and programs for Grades 1 to Grade 8. Placement in school is based on the address of the custodian or parent in the City of Toronto and is subject to availability of space and school. To identify a home school for student, two proof of address are required:

• Original current rental lease or property tax bill
• Original current utility bill (Hydro, Water, Gas or Cable) or home telephone bill or bank letter

In the Ontario education system an elementary student is placed in a grade according to age. The Toronto District School Board reserves the right to determine final school and grade placement.
